ANARC Smartwatch Updates

Get ready for the Layer Anarc Smartwatch countdown begin on the website. It seems like the one who has the password get the early access to the Smartwatch.

Tech Burner has updates for his fans regarding the upcoming ANARC Smartwatch, which is scheduled to launch on November 15. In a post on the Community tab of his YouTube channel, Tech Burner addressed questions raised about whether the watch delay was just a marketing strategy. He responded to these concerns by stating, “Tech Burner hasn’t actually made a watch; he’s just trying to do some marketing.”

He clarified this by explaining, “Some people feel that we mentioned a delay just for marketing. We’ve been doing tech reviews for the past 10 years, creating brands like Layers, Overlays, and Brightso. But there’s one thing we’ve never done, and that is to mislead you in any way. We built our team across 4 countries, rejected over 30 designs, created prototypes, and conducted testing. When we felt we could make it even better, we chose to delay things to bring our watch to the level of the world’s top smartwatches. We’ve put a lot of effort into making this watch, and we’re launching it soon on November 15. I hope this delay will be worth it for you.” (translate from hindi)

He said in a short video that there are three reasons they delayed launched the ANARC Smartwatch.

First, they thoroughly checked and tested the watch, comparing it to the Apple Watch Ultra to reach the same level of quality. This included features like heart rate monitoring, SpO₂ measurement, sleep tracking, and stress monitoring.

The second reason is that their previous model only had a 30 FPS or 30Hz refresh rate, which was a “deal breaker” for them. So, they upgraded it to 60Hz. This update took time because they had to change the firmware and redesign the UX animations.

Is ANARC SmartWatch Made in India?

In another short video, Tech Burner explains whether the watch is made in India and addresses people’s concerns that the watch might just be copied from China. He mentions that many brands simply copy products from China and sell them under their own labels, but for the ANARC Smartwatch, they took a different approach.

He explains that there are four main steps involved in making a smartwatch: designing the watch, creating the software, developing tracking algorithms, and testing. According to him, the watch design was created by a London-based Virgin Group, which also manufactures rockets. They spent six months working closely together on the design.

For the software, Tech Burner explains that they developed it themselves, but for the firmware, they collaborated with a team of developers. Regarding the testing, they conducted testing themselves and also hired an agency to assist in testing the watch’s performance.

He expressed a desire to make this smartwatch “Made in India,” but acknowledged that if they wanted to set up their own factory, it would cost more than 25 crore rupees. Additionally, if they outsourced to another factory, they would need to produce a minimum of 20,000 units per month, which isn’t feasible at the moment since they’re a new brand with limited funding. Although they hope to manufacture in India in the future, for now, the watch is made in China.
